My name is Monique and I play keys. My main goal is to become a session player. I don't have a main genre that I usually play as I tend to play different genres. Such as jazz fusion, neo soul and RnB.
My inspiration mainly comes from live performances because of the way the song is arranged in a different way compared to the studio version.
I think my fan base will vary due to me playing with different musicians and possibly in different genres. So, I find it difficult to narrow down on what group of people would make up my fan base.
In the future, I would ideally want to be a session player on a small scale first and work on growing a portfolio for myself to be able to become known. I could use multiple social media outlets such as SoundCloud, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter etc.
